When you open a model kit you find a box full of parts: wood, strips, threads, fittings and the instructions to bring them to life. The model is built by you.
That's precisely the magic of modelmaking: turning a box full of parts into a stunning model with your own hands. Every board you sand, every strip you fit and every knot you tie brings you closer to the final result. That's why a model built by you is worth infinitely more than any pre-assembled figure: it carries your hours, your patience and your craft inside.
What will you find when you open an Occre kit?
Inside the box is all the material you need to build the complete model: all the wood and strips, every part of the model, the cotton threads for the rigging, the parts identification sheet to recognise each component, the HD photographic assembly guide and the written instructions in 6 languages (Spanish, English, French, German, Italian and Portuguese).
You're not missing anything to start building: you open the box, check the parts with the identification sheet and get to work following the step-by-step photos.
What does the kit NOT include? (and why)
The kit includes all the material for the model, but there are three things that don't come inside the box:
- The tools (craft knife, sandpaper, tweezers, pliers...).
- The glues and adhesives.
- The paints and varnishes.
Why? Because these are things you reuse from one model to the next, and every modelmaker has their own preferences. It wouldn't make sense to pay for a new set of tools with every kit.
