Sirve excelente para dar cuerpo al hilo y evitar las pequeñas pelusas que surgen del hilo del algodón permitiendo un mejor acabado en los modelos.
Ya tenia yo una autentica vela de cera de abeja (ojo parafina no) al principio usaba una de las malas, y se noto un montón cuando cambie a la de abeja. se me ha terminado, y la verdad, esta cera de abeja ahora que estoy tirando cuerdecitas del Beagle va de escandalo.

Really good product. Too bad I didn't realize this earlier. Makes the ropes look much more real. Removes excessive hairiness from the ropes. Makes it easier to thread the ropes. The ropes can be threaded into place without any tools. I'm currently building the Santisima Trinidad ship and I use this for every piece of rope.
Started a couple of days ago. This is my first wooden ship. It looks like I have a lot of work ahead, especially with the rigging. One remark, though: The planks provided for the covering of the decks are 5mm wide, which, in the 1:100 scale of the ship, corresponds to actual 50 cm width for the planks, which is about twice the actual expected width for them, so I decided to split them in half lengthwise. I will also check the outer covering of the hull, because it also looks oversized.
