El Endeavour fue construido en junio de 1764 por Thomas Fishburn con el nombre de Earl Of Pembroke. Tenía 368 toneladas y sus medidas eran 29 m. de eslora, 24,79 de quilla y 8,89 de eslora máxima. Su forma era de proa redonda y popa plana con aparejo en forma de cruz. Estaba dedicado al transporte del carbón.El 5 de abril de 1768 fue registrado como barco de la Royal Navy con el nombre de Endeavour teniendo como misión hacer viajes de exploración. En el astillero de Deptford cerca de Londres fue preparado para el viaje construyendo cubiertas, camarotes y depósitos para albergar al personal: oficiales, científicos, criados y marinería en total 94 hombres.El Endeavour dio la vuelta al mundo al mando del capitán James Cook saliendo de Plymouth Inglaterra el 8 de Agosto de 1768 y regresando a Londres el 13 de julio 1771. La misión de esta expedición era observar el paso del planeta Venos entre la Tierra y el Sol, sirvió para estimar la distancia entre los astros y utilizar esta como medida para calcular los parámetros del universo.
El buque fue utilizado posteriormente por la Royal Navy en la guerra de independencia estadounidense y finalmente se hundió con una docena de otros buques frente a Newport, Rhode Island en 1778.

My first large ship! I had a little training building several small boats but this………this is extraordinary! I’m currently at the sail rigging stage after over a year‘s work. I’m nearing the end of this chapter. I’m starting to think about my next build!
Almost there. The Kit was very complete with plenty of material (other than what I accidentally wasted). Instructions were adequate, but cross check all of them, including photos. There were a few inaccurate measurements and conflicts I could have avoided

Me ha enganchado el modelismo naval. Yo siempre he hecho aeromodelismo por radiocontrol pero llegas a una edad que buscas algo más tranquilo y estoy encantado. Es mi segundo barco de Occre y seguro no será el último. Un saludo a todo el equipo y a los compañeros modelistas

Maquette passionnante a réaliser. Bois de très bonne qualité Explications claires. Manuel photo bien fait et indispensable Vidéo YouTube au top 👍 Encore de nombreuses heures de détente en vue pour finaliser ce projet.
Je suis très satisfait de mon achat et je prends beaucoup de plaisir a construire ce beau bateau.
This is my first wooden ship model. Enjoying it very much. Just finished the 1st layer planking which worked out better then I thought it would. Great kit so far.
The Endurance kit is my most exciting model ship challenge yet. There are so many quality and detailed parts. I'm only into the first planking but enjoying it immensely. Laser cut parts fit precisely and wood stock provided is very cleanly cut. No furry offcuts in sight. Enough extra strips are provided for fixing mistakes and not being stingy with the wood. A great kit.

Started building. The instructions are clear with enough pictures to understand what exactly has to be done. Still a long way to go before the ship is final, but it’s fun and nice build. Quality of the pieces are also good, so it all fits together.

Started building the Endeaver very happy with the quality of wood and pre cut material . This is the forth model ship I have purchased from Occre . Although I have made a few mistakes with each model my skill is improving

Ich habe mir die Endeavour gekauft und baue immer mal wieder an dem Modell. Einige Stellen in der Anleitung sind leider nicht direkt ersichtlich. So brauche ich teilweise einen zweiten Anlauf, um das Modell fertig zu bekommen. Durch die Lebenslange Garantie ist das aber Gott sei Dank kein Problem. Inzwischen bin ich bei den Masten angekommen und bewundere das Modell wie es wächst. Ich kann es kaum erwarten, wenn die Segel gehisst werden..
