Historia del Erebus
El HMS Erebus fue un barco de la Expedición Franklin al Ártico, liderada por Sir John Franklin en 1845. Junto con el HMS Terror, el Erebus se adentró en el hielo ártico y nunca regresó, convirtiéndose en la Expedición Perdida de Sir John Franklin. El Erebus fue construido en 1826 y tenía una longitud de 88 metros. Fue uno de los barcos más avanzados tecnológicamente de su época, equipado con motores a vapor y diseñado para soportar las duras condiciones del Ártico. Sin embargo, a pesar de sus innovaciones, la expedición sufrió graves contratiempos y ninguno de los 129 tripulantes a bordo del Erebus y del Terror sobrevivió. El HMS Erebus se ha convertido en un símbolo de la exploración ártica y de la tenacidad humana frente a la adversidad.

Erebus y Terror de la Expedición perdida de Franklin
El HMS Erebus y el HMS Terror fueron dos barcos que formaron parte de la Expedición Perdida de Sir John Franklin al Ártico en 1845. Ambos barcos eran tecnológicamente avanzados para la época y se les equipó con motores a vapor para navegar por las aguas árticas. La expedición buscaba encontrar el Paso del Noroeste, pero se quedó atrapada en el hielo y nunca regresó. Después de varios años sin noticias de los barcos, se inició una búsqueda que llevó a su descubrimiento en 2014 y 2016. Aunque se encontraron restos de la expedición, nunca se determinó la causa exacta de su fracaso, lo que ha llevado a muchas teorías y especulaciones. El Erebus y el Terror son recordados como símbolos de la exploración ártica y la valentía de los exploradores que se aventuraron en un territorio desconocido y peligroso.

Très bon produit
He concluido la construcción del navío San Ildefonso y habiendo podido comprobar la calidad del producto, he decidido continuar con otros modelos de OCCRE. Mis siguientes retos que he adquirido recientemente son el BEAGLE, EREBUS y DIANA. Destacar además los diseños, calidad de los materiales, buenas instrucciones, planos, atención al cliente, y el .servicio de reposición de piezas que tuve que utilizar fue excelente. Mi marca de confianza.
Still working through all the sawdust. I like the paint schedule for The Terror better and will probably copy that one. Kit provided plenty of lumber and directions were very clear. Really like the different wood species this model used. Nice work!

Todo en perfecto estado, cómo siempre. Acabo de terminar el Aurora, con ganas de empezar este nuevo barco EREBUS.
Building wooden model ships is a fantastic hobby. You can dream away and go back to the time when the ship was built .Reading a book about the voyages of a ship makes your hobby even more fun. At the moment I am still working on the project The Beagle (see photo), but when that is finished I will start with the Erebus. And I'm sure in a few months I will have completed another beautiful and interesting project that is also a jewel for my living room. As always, the quality and service that OcCre offers can be assessed with a big plus and the manual and videos are such that your project can’t fail. For those who want to turn their Erebus into a diorama, I refer to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SQMPX4wufAU, the YouTube channel “Home Harbour”. Come on boys and girls let’s build together so that the generations after us can still see which ships of the past have sailed the world's oceans.

The boat kit is fine but I don't like the video instructions, there is no sound so they're not very useful. I'm old school and would appreciate full written instructions.

Der Bausatz macht einen sehr guten Eindruck, ich habe noch nicht mit der Montage begonnen. Ich kann es aber kaum noch erwarten.

Wie fast alle Occre-Schiffsmodelle, die ich kenne, ein wirklich sehr guter Bausatz. Wenn man zusätzlich in anderes Tauwerk, andere Segel und für die viel zu glänzenden Metallteile ausreichend Bräunierungsmittel investiert kann daraus ein Top-Modell werden.

Ainda não comecei a construção do "Erebus", porque estou a concluir o "Polaris". De qualquer modo, a minha próxima construção será o tren "Adler" para oferta a um dos meus filhos. Quando concluir os trabalhos envio foto ou vídeo.
Habe den Bausatz am Erscheinungstag bestellt und ein paar Tage später geliefert bekommen. Dafür gibt es 5 Sterne. Nach Erhalt hab ich mir selbigen angeschaut, aber mit dem Bau noch nicht begonnen, da ich noch mit der HMS „Beagle“ beschäftigt bin.
