C'est la première maquette en bois que je fais, le kit est très bien et le bois est de qualité. La notice avec photo est très claire et les vidéos aident beaucoup aussi

C’est un très bon modèle pour commencer,Un vrai plaisir à monté, bon j’ai fait quelques erreurs de débutant même si j’ai à mon actif une petite dizaine de vaisseaux en plastique.le bois et de qualité et les notices bien détaillées.je recommande fortement pour débuter.
Je l’ai reçu il y a deux semaines. Je ne l’ai pas encore commencé car je dois en finir un autre (Le Pen Duick). J’ai bien hâte de commencer mon Polaris.
Superbe maquette, très agréable à construire grâce aux instructions et photos détaillées ainsi qu'aux vidéos dispo sur YouTube. Très bonne qualité, très bien finie. Encore 2 voiles et quelques petits détails et il sera terminé et pourrais attaquer le prochain.

Très belle maquette, très agréable à réaliser. Pas trop compliquée ( c'est ma première coque en bois) grâce à la notice papier très bien faite et aux vidéos YouTube.

If you're new to modelship building then OcCre's Polaris is the perfect one to start with! I myself am a total noob but their clear instructions both on paper and on Youtube is so detailed that you can learn so easily. I absolutely love it!

First build l made many mistakes but i love to learn more.
This was my first ship model build. It took me 34 days to complete. I've put my heart and mind into it. What an enriching experience! High quality materials and a good level of detailed instructions. I can't believe it is finished. I'm sad and happy at the same time and just can't get enough looking at it. This will be an airloom piece to be handed down from father to son and so on. Thank you Occre!

The OcCre Polaris is my very first wooden model kit, and it turned out to be a fantastic introduction to the world of model shipbuilding. I have been beelding plastic modeld (cars) for years. I was impressed by the clarity of the instructions. The manual includes step-by-step guidance with high-quality photos, which made it easy to follow. Each stage of the build is well-documented, helping to avoid confusion and making the process enjoyable rather than frustrating. Completely different from building plastic models. The materials are excellent. The wooden parts are precisely cut and fit together well. Haven't finished the build yet but I learned a lot about techniques like sanding, gluing, and assembling wood. It is very satisfying to see the ship slowly take shape. It’s not overly complex, making it perfect for beginners, but still offers enough detail to feel like a real accomplishment. Next model will be the Mississippi!
In the past, I made 1/50 wooden houses from another manufacturer designed by Occre. I really enjoyed making them. I had to explore Occre's own products. My first purchase was the Polaris because it's beautiful and seems simple to get started. I finally found the time to explore and start this build. The materials are good quality and the small parts are well-made. The instructions are detailed yet straightforward. I'm quite excited. I hope to send photos when I'm finished soon.
I love the kit and the quality of the wood and accessories is outstanding. The delivery was quicker than expected. I am a beginner (1st model) and found your YouTube videos were not that good for beginners (that is why I chose a 4). I think they need to be more in depth especially for the beginner kits. For instance, I found the planking very challenging and wished the video had more info and possibly audio. I went to a person who put his own video out on the Polaris and am using that. My suggestion is offer him payment and just use that one. All that being said I am enjoying the Polaris kit and love learning and developing my skills so I can move on to other Occre ships. I also bought a few tools and they are great quality. Thanks Occre for starting me on a great new hobby.

Mi tercer barco. Me gusta mucho. Entiendo que tenía que pagar los costes de envío. Lo que me sorprendió y que no gustaba fue el dinero que tenía que pagar a la aduana. Veniendo del mismo país (península a canarias) me sorprendió que tenía que pagar impuestos. Tenéis que avisarlo antes.

Ich wollte schon lange selber ein Schiff bauen. Da ich noch Anfänger bin, ist das Modell Polaris für den Einstieg einfach perfekt. Die Anleitungen sind klar und deutlich beschrieben. Mit jedem Schritt sammle ich mehr Erfahrung und es macht immer mehr Spass. Ich bin sehr zufrieden und freu mich jetzt schon auf das Endergebnis.

Solo quería detallar mi primera experiencia en el modelismo, esta compra ha sido todo un acierto, a pesar del trabajo que lleva, está todo muy bien documentado, material de alta calidad y múltiples videos detallados para ir poco a poco avanzando, no tiene una dificultad muy alta pero si es tu primera experiencia como yo, te llevará tiempo de disfrutar del montaje, y aprendiendo a medida que vas montando. Mi consejo es que te tomes tu tiempo, que disfrutes el camino y que mires las instrucciones y los vídeos todas las veces que te hagan falta. Seguimos montando y aprendiendo 🛶🎨❤️

Hello, I am very happy with the quality of this kit. It was perfect to reinitiate my model building skills. It is very forgiving, I have made some things not optimal but I am very happy with the end result. I wantet a weathered and used optic with canons an a small auxiliary boat. It is also a very good thing, that the customer service is more than helpfull an very patient and friendly. All in all it was a perfect kit and I had a lot of fun building it. All the best
