El modelo Ulises era un remolcador de altura. Durante los años 60 el tráfico marítimo era muy intenso, el trasiego de mercancías que cruzaban los mares y océanos de todo el mundo era constante.
Esta actividad no estaba exenta de riesgo, por ello la labor de los remolcadores de altura era de vital importancia ayudando a todos los buques que sufrían algún percance. En esta época el metal era el material básico de construcción de los buques, con un cierto porcentaje de madera, aprovechaban la resistencia del acero para el casco y el confort de la madera para las zonas habitables, con lo que conseguían modelos de singular belleza pese a ser buques diseñados para el trabajo.

Es un modelo reducido de remolcador bastante facil de montar, y está previsto original para ser radiocontrolado. Lo probé en un estangue, y navega bien, sin embargo con una hélice différente de la entregada en la caja, de latón en lugar de plástico. Gracias por este gran producto.
The hull of the Ulises has been filled and is currently drying. Before reaching this stage, I first sanded the planked hull with coarse 60-grit sandpaper. I then applied a full coat of filler over the entire hull and allowed it to dry for 24 hours before sanding it smooth with 120-grit sandpaper. Next, I applied two coats of diluted varnish. The advantage of this is that it fills any small gaps and makes the hull watertight at the same time. After that, I sprayed the hull with spray filler (high-build primer) and sanded it with 400-grit sandpaper. The repaired filler areas now need to be sanded smooth before applying another coat of spray filler. Once this has been done, the hull will be wet-sanded and polished with 800-grit sandpaper to achieve a smooth finish ready for painting.

Waiting to start but I did like doing the Hercules and this is my second from Occre and I really like the quality of the product. Some what new to tug models I have only done 3 and this will be my 4th. I hope you have more upcoming sales this year their arr a couple more o wouldn't like to do this year. I would like to see a sample of your paint you use on these models. Thanks Keep making good plank on frame models not a fan of plastic hulls.

Esto creo que no es normal, y no es el único fallo que he encontrado, es solucionable si! Es lógico? No!

I will never use you again after after I was charged taxes and import tax by the delivery company this has never happened to me before £62 .00 I had to pay i would not recommend you

Sehr schnelle Lieferung ,Modell und Bauanleitung Übersichtlich/leicht Verständlich. ein Mangel an den Lagern der Schiffswelle (Lager zu kleine Bohrung). Etwas schwer verständlich (für mich) Spanten im Be- reich von Heck und falschem Kiel. Bilder sind nicht möglich Schiff noch im Bau. Für mich als Neueinsteiger ein sehr schönes Modell und gut zu bauen. Reinhard

Il kit è molto bello, sto continuando la costruzione, purtroppo non ho trovato in rete le foto del rimorchiatore originale per prendere ulteriori spunti per i dettagli.
