The Candelaria is a Mediterranean bomb vessel, the size of a brig but broader and with two masts: the main mast is positioned almost in the centre with a round rig and the small mizzen mast has a gaffsail. Between the main mast and the forecastle are the mortars.
The Candelaria was designed and built to work as a floating battery when blockading ports or during sieges of sea forts.
The reproduction of the model is faithful to the original. Ein tolles Modell. Es lässt sich gut von der Hand bauen, der Bausatz ist übersichtlich und mit ein bisschen Erfahrung auch nicht mal so schwer. Einziges Manko, bei der Anleitung (einige Fehler und Ungereimtheiten, teilweise schwierig zu sehen und zu verstehen wie oder was gemacht werden soll) und den Metallteile Bedarf es eines Updates oder Überarbeitung.

I'm currently setting up a new hobby room, that's why the construction activities on model ships are temporarily halted.
I am very satisfied with La Candelaria, because for relatively little money you get quality and after the necessary efforts also a beautiful ship for the living room/study room.
From now on I do plan to build two ships at the same time, this to avoid the relatively long wait due to gluing and painting.
But first I'm going to finish the HMS Beagle, It's going to be a beautiful ship, unfortunately for someone else.

Bonjour, j’aime bien cette maquette les les bois sont de bonne qualité et facile à travailler.
La seule chose que je regrette, c’est la qualité du métal pour les accastillage et l’artillerie.
J’aurais préféré que ce soit dans une matière comme du laiton tourné ou les choses comme ça mais c’est pas grave je m’arrangerai avec très bien. Bonne journée merci. Les plans sont très clair les photos aussi.

Ein sehr guter Occre Bausatz.Aber leider gibt es einen Stern abzug für die leider nicht mehr zeitgemäße Bau-anleitung. Diese kann mit den heutigen nicht mithalten,unscharfe Bilder und zu klein.Bitte Occre die Bauanleitung mal neu auflegen.
