Taking into account the general techniques for assembling a naval model, we have designed a simple and attractive model, with video tutorials on our YouTube channel, with step-by-step, detailed assembly instructions. With Polaris you will practice and learn the assembly and model-building techniques used in naval modelling. These techniques are the same as those used for any ship, regardless of its type or size: working the materials, building and planking a hull, mast building, rigging and sails, varnishing and finishing wood and metals, and lots more

The name Polaris corresponds to the "Pole Star", the guiding star used by navigators. The Polaris ship aims to be a guide to get started in naval modelling.

Just starting the Polaris and I’m very happy with the kit. I’ve been messing around with wooden ship models for about 45 years and this kit is the best I’ve seen. The wood is precise and not brittle. Laser cutting is 10 times better than another brand’s kit I’m finishing up now. The paper the plans and instructions are printed on is top quality also. I’ll update in a month or so.

Era un regalo dei miei figli. E' stato il mio primo modellino, non avendo la minima esperienza di modellismo è stata una bella sfida ma sono molto contento. Purtroppo ho fatto moltissimi errori (come si vede dalla foto) ma penso di aver imparato moltissimo. In the past, I made 1/50 wooden houses from another manufacturer designed by Occre. I really enjoyed making them. I had to explore Occre's own products. My first purchase was the Polaris because it's beautiful and seems simple to get started. I finally found the time to explore and start this build. The materials are good quality and the small parts are well-made. The instructions are detailed yet straightforward. I'm quite excited. I hope to send photos when I'm finished soon.

5 mois et demi de travail pour ce bijoux !! J’ai débuté le modélisme naval un peu par hasard . Je me suis lancé avec le Polaris et j’ai tout de suite accroché !! Une qualité des matériaux aux top!!! Une magnifique passion que je viens de débuter et je souhaite me perfectionner. Occre a vraiment des navires magnifiques. Ik ben een beginner en heb geen ervaring met modelbouw. Ik heb via de beschrijving die bijgeleverd is en met hulp van YouTube films en ook via de facebook pagina van Occre àlles gevonden om mijn schip de Polaris te kunnen bouwen en het is echt een aanrader om te beginnen . Ik ben een chronische pijnpatiënt en vind hier rust en echte voldoening in die mijn leven en geest tot rust brengt en mij mijn eigenwaarde die gezakt was weer op te bouwen. Après de nombreuses maquettes j'ai voulu passer au bois. Pour me familiariser aux nouveaux défis j'ai opté pour le Polaris. Un très bon choix pour se faire la main. J'ai apprécié les tutos vidéo très bien faits. Je vais continuer avec HMS Beagle et le San Felipe, de belles heures en perspective.
