La Fregata Diana fu varata il 10 de marzo del 1792. Formava parte della serie di fregate chiamate “Mahonesas” per essere state costruite nella cittadina di Mahón. Il suo disegno le permise d’essere più veloce delle precedenti. Partecipò alla guerra contro la Francia sulle coste catalane. Durante la Guerra d’Indipendenza era di base a Cadice.
Con le forze navali dell’Avana, partecipò alle Antille a battaglie contro i corsari. Realizzò varie traversate dell’Atlantico.Nel 1833 fu disarmata nell’arsenale di Cartagena.

Very nice model.There are few things which can be improved in stock version.I added lower deck without fake cannons to add normal ones and details plus lights.2 more cannons on back of ship on deck instead closed frame with fake covers and 4 more canons at front part there was enought place for them :D,barrels,cannon balls.Only thing i miss from kit was 1 cannon cover for frame and there is plenty blocks on ship which are not used in rigging so you leave them empty or search on internet for those rigging parts :D.There is full guide from start till end on facebook occre modelling group if you need any informations

Receive the Diana today, to avoid the import tax I got it via a third party supplier, hopefully the lifetime replacement promise still applies.
First impressions on open the box was amazement. The only down side was the cast small boats, would have preferred the wooden one from the Black Swan kit, that I had great fun building.

My first Occre kit. I am very satisfied with the quality of the materials as well as the clear instructions, which, unlike those from many other manufacturers, are often unclear and lack detailed steps. I am just at the beginning of the build, but I am looking forward to continuing. The only downside I would point out is that I was supposed to receive a free gift—a handsaw—with my order, but it was not included in the package. Otherwise, everything is great. 👍🏻

llevó años montando maquetas de barcos de varias marcas de occre e montado algunos y puedo deciros que no e tenido ningún problema hasta ahora que me a surgido en este envío venían dos piezas de menos son las 102 de 28 venían 26 por lo contrario es un buen artículo mejor de lo que yo creía muchas gracias y espero que sigáis en la brecha y que esta incidencia no tarde en susanarce
