Spanish galleon model: San Martín

The San Martín was originally built in Portugal and passed into the ownership of the Spanish crown in 1580. Her place in history is considerable: she became the flagship of the Spanish Armada. The ship Apostle Philip

This vessel was one of the six galleons Martín de Arana built for King Philip IV.
