Το πρώτο μου έργο. Εξαιρετικό. Με αυτό ανακάλυψα την occre. Δυσκολεύτηκα λίγο με την πρύμη, αλλά έμαθα την ομορφιά του ξύλου. Είμαι πολύ υπερήφανος για το τελικό αποτέλεσμα. Οι οδηγίες πολύ σαφείς.

Foto dei lavori in corso. Modello non banale; alcuni passi del montaggio creano problemi (per esempio occorre prima curvare le murate e solo poi applicare la listellatura interna) e alcuni dei materiali (strisce in ottone, elementi per il timone, murate) non sono ottimali come il solito. Migliorabile, sebbene richieda esperienza per superare questi problemi.

A Fantastic New Hobby: My First Wooden Ship Model! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ As someone who’s built plastic models for years, I recently decided to try my hand at wooden ship scale modeling. I chose the Palamos Fishing Vessel as my first kit, and let me tell you—it’s been a thoroughly rewarding experience! The transition from plastic to wood came with a bit of a learning curve. Unlike plastic kits, wooden ship models require more planning, precision, and patience. I had to familiarize myself with new tools like sanders, clamps, and wood glue, as well as techniques like planking and shaping wood. That said, overcoming those challenges made the process all the more satisfying. The Palamos Fishing Vessel kit from OcCre is an excellent choice for beginners like me. The instructions were clear, the materials were high-quality, and the design was forgiving enough to allow for a few rookie mistakes. The kit even included some spare parts, which came in handy during those "oops" moments. What I enjoyed most was how immersive the build was. Each step—from assembling the keel to adding the final details—felt like a journey. It’s a slower, more deliberate process compared to snapping plastic pieces together, but it’s also more meditative. Watching the ship take shape, piece by piece, was incredibly rewarding. If you’re a plastic modeler considering wood ship kits, I’d highly recommend giving it a try. It’s a different skill set, but one that’s equally enjoyable. I’m already eyeing my next project—maybe a tall ship or a classic schooner. Ein sehr schönes Schiff. Es war mein drittes Schiff welches ich gebaut habe. Der erste Bausatz von Occre. Es wird viel mit weicherem Lindenholz gearbeitet, welches dann dünne Salpelli Hölzer als Verkleidung bzw. Zweite Verplankung bekommt. Die Kurve am Heck ist sehr schwer und scheint nicht richtig zu passen. Mit viel Geduld geht es aber dann doch. Ich finde, das Ergebnis kann sich sehen lassen. Spaß gemacht hat der Zusammenbau trotz der leichten Schwierigkeiten.
My first of many projects from occre. After Reading so much good stuff about occre and the quality they provide i had to buy it. And let me tell you that the quality is really good. The Wood is not to hard yet flexibile...easy to work with and bend.. So looking forward of this project...

This the Palamos which is a work in progress. I am still working on Hull details which as you can see is not close what I would like but it is better that the first try. Occre has very good product I believe. the materials are good quality except for the Sapelli Planks which are a little delicate because when cutting sharp planks, they have tendency to splinter. MC

Es un pequeño barco ideal parra principiantes. Aunque ya tengo bastante experiencia con kit de barcos mucho más complejos, siempre es un placer hacer estos pequeños proyectos y disfrutar intensamente con la experiencia.

He realizado una versión muy libre del original, el cual me parecía muy soso. He tenido muchas dificultades en acoplar el forro de las amuradas, llegando incluso a pensar en abandonar por que no había forma de que cogieran la curva la madera es muy fina y se corre el riesgo de romperla, al final no quedo perfecta pero con paciencia y mucha lija logre salvar la situación, por todo lo demas un barco entretenido de montar. Material de excelente qualidade, instruções boas, poderiam ser mais detalhadas para principiantes. Perdi uma polia que me foi remetida imediatamente. Minha dificuldade foi a montagem da borda falsa na região da popa.

I owned this set for over 20 years and this year I finally built it and I also made it an RC version with servo, motor and rudder. It's a very beautiful boat!
This was my first ever attempt to build a wooden model ship. This is why a chose a beginner level kit. The instructions were great, the kit pieces were perfect and included extra pieces where needed. I learned a lot about the art of ship building and plan to try a medium level challenge next. I highly recommend OcCre kits for their quality. Thanks for the experience! Richard

Para ser la primera que hago, creo que no me ha quedado mal. Tiene muchos fallos, lógicamente, pero creo que los he solventado medianamente bien. No me gustó el acabado del barniz satinado y decidí darle primero un toque envejecido con betún de judea y luego barnicé con sintético brillo. Por cierto, las puntas para clavar listones vienen demasiado justas, y las láminas de latón de 2mm de ancho parten fácilmente al plegarlas.

Estoy disfrutando cada paso del montaje como un niño. Los materiales y las piezas son de muy buena calidad.
