Ein tolles Modell. Es lässt sich gut von der Hand bauen, der Bausatz ist übersichtlich und mit ein bisschen Erfahrung auch nicht mal so schwer. Einziges Manko, bei der Anleitung (einige Fehler und Ungereimtheiten, teilweise schwierig zu sehen und zu verstehen wie oder was gemacht werden soll) und den Metallteile Bedarf es eines Updates oder Überarbeitung.

Tout récent retraité, c'est ma première maquette de bateau. J'ai pris beaucoup de plaisir même si mon manque d'expérience m'a certainement pénalisé dans le réalisme final, vu ce que certaines autres personnes ont posté... N'étant pas familier des techniques, j'ai bien aimé devoir utiliser des matériaux différents et le résultat n'est pas si mal.

This is the second wooden ship my first one from Occre I have been so pleased with the instructions and details and quality of the product. I have made a few mistakes that’s part of it I will be purchasing a new ship when I finish this one.

This is my first ever ship build, but I have always enjoyed assembling things, also a Lego enthusiast. When I was young I used to build balsa wood planes and really enjoyed it so I thought I would find another model type to build to unwind from a busy work day. Found OCCRE online and have been extremely happy with the quality of this model. The videos are very helpful for parts that I'm unsure of. Everything looked daunting at first but with some patience I have found that its been a challenge but nothing I cant handle. I certainly have made some mistakes that I can fix for my next one. Love the model!!

Il kit dell'Albatros della OcCre si rivela una scelta eccellente per chiunque voglia dedicarsi al modellismo navale. Le istruzioni sono chiare e ben strutturate, rendendo l'assemblaggio fluido e stimolante anche nei passaggi più delicati. La qualità dei legni e dei dettagli in metallo è davvero eccellente, con componenti tagliati al laser che combaciano alla perfezione e riducono al minimo la necessità di aggiustamenti.
Costruire questo brigantino si è dimostrata un'esperienza estremamente soddisfacente e gratificante sotto ogni punto di vista. Il risultato finale è un modello elegante e d'effetto, che incentiva assolutamente a proseguire su questa strada e ad acquistare presto un nuovo progetto firmato OcCre.

Buenas, para mi es una experiencia genial, me encanta iluminar los barcos y en este he hecho que la chalupa sea igual que el barco, aunque las chalupas es lo que más me cuesta hacer, es un barco muy entretenido y parece fácil pero tiene sus complicaciones, como cualquier velero cuando llegan los mástiles, las jarcias, etc. Animo a cualquiera a que lo intente y que no tengan miedo a hacerlo. Premier "vrai" bateau (après un petit test sur une petite barque d'une marque concurrente).
Mes impressions de débutant : matériaux qualitatifs (nb : quantité limite voire insuffisante sur quelques items : attention à bien être économe dans les découpes), notice claire (malgré quelques incohérences ou erreurs), difficulté tout à fait abordable pour un débutant comme moi.
Bref : superbe expérience et un résultat au delà de mes attentes malgré quelques inévitables erreurs !
Prochain plaisir : le Royal Fortune commandé pour la rentrée !

My first large ship! I had a little training building several small boats but this………this is extraordinary! I’m currently at the sail rigging stage after over a year‘s work. I’m nearing the end of this chapter. I’m starting to think about my next build!

Endurance is my second build of an Occre kit and my 6th build overall. After building HMS Beagle I was impressed enough with the quality of the kit that for my next build I returned to Occre. I have only just started on the bulkheads, nothing exciting to see with that process, and I expect to spend the better part of the next year to complete the project. I attached a picture of HMS Beagle as my Endurance is no where near the point of photographing.

Almost there. The Kit was very complete with plenty of material (other than what I accidentally wasted). Instructions were adequate, but cross check all of them, including photos. There were a few inaccurate measurements and conflicts I could have avoided

Every build is a learning process, I had to re run planking at the front toward the bow as it wasn’t working correctly. I’m looking forward to adding the details. There needs to be a stronger system to fix the davits to the hull, just gluing them is insufficient.

Love this build! It is my first model and I’m learning through my many mistakes. It has been an extremely therapeutic and fun experience. I’ve finished all of the hull and ship parts and next up is the rigging. I can easily see myself working on a new ship every year and can’t wait to start the next one!
