This locomotive, which was manufactured by Robert Stephenson & Co. of Newcastle, was shipped in pieces from Newcastle to the Port of Rotterdam, from there it was transported up the Rhine to Cologne, and from Cologne, with a great deal of difficulty, it had then to be transported overland to Nuremberg.
When it finally reached its destination it was put back together at the workshops of Johann Wilhelm Spaeth. The coaches were built in wood by local workshops.
On 7th December 1835 it completed its maiden journey from Furth to Nuremberg, along a line measuring 6.04 km in length.

Tämä oli ensimmäinen puusta tehty malli. Parannettavaa on, mutta olen tyytyväinen. Seuraavaksi laivan Dianan rakentamiseen.
Buenas tardes, es un encanto de modelo, y hay que prestar mucha atención dadas sus dimensiones, sobre todo después de hacer grandes barcos. Aquí os dejo mis primeros pasos en la caldera, aunque sea un tren es igual de "complicado" que los barcos, esto es un hobby super adictivo. Saludos
Première réalisation d'un modèle ferroviaire étant plutôt habitué à réaliser des maquettes de bateaux. Très belle découverte.
Je peux difficilement exprimer un avis / à la maquette que je viens d'acheter et pas encore réalisée. Par contre je peux en exprimer/ à la précédente Rocket que j'ai terminée. A mon sens, qq défauts , peu nombreux, de conception pourraient être revus assez facilement par OCCRE. Bien entendu, je me ferai fort de cous les détailler si vous le souhaitez.

Sehr schöner Bausatz recht nahe am Original. Macht echt Spaß alles zusammenzubauen. Schade daß es keinen Motor von OCCRE mehr gibt, so musste ich mir selbst was einfallen lassen.

ich habe 8 räder für den tender bekommen,es baucht nur 4 (metallreifen) dafür fehlen die 4 kleineren für die lokomotive(metallreifen) ich habe versucht die fehlenden teile auf ihrer ersatzteil lieste zu bestellen, aber die teilenummer 45 ist nach ihrem program nicht existent. ich versuche jetzt die reifen selber zu drehen. ich hoffe das dies nicht der standart ist,den ihre modelle finde ich schön ,intresant und würde gerne noch einige bauen.

The Adler and the Rocket were great, fun builds, the Adler being slightly more challenging. I thought they were both deserving of being shown off as a pair in a diorama.
Estoy casi terminandolo y me gusta mucho; estoy disfrutandolo. No he respetado mucho los colores, porque, p.ej., me da pena tapar las partes metálicas; me gustan más así. Un detalle es que no tienen movilidad las bielas, creo que le hacía falta un cigüeñal , pero eso no es importante. Lo recomiendo a otros manitas.
Super Bausatz. Keine grösseren Probleme beim zusammenbauen. Einziger Mangel, die Farbgebung könnte besser beschrieben sein. Ansonsten Top.

Un bonito modelo para introducirse en el modelismo ferroviario. Las instrucciones con claras y los materiales buenos. Sólo avisar que hay que tener soltura en el manejo de cyanocrilato, enmasillado, pintado...

La maqueta me parece preciosa pero las piezas de la estructura están mal troqueladas. Las instrucciones son confusas y el kit de pinturas que venden a parte no se corresponden con los colores aplicables a la maqueta.

es la segunda locomotora que realizo y en esta he hallado muchas piezas pequeñas de difícil manipulación. existen varias piezas de tablero con mucha facilidad para romperse, de hecho les he tenido que solicitar un par de ruedas 44 por rotura catastrófica de ambas al tener que forzarlas en el montaje. presenta bastante dificultad y las instrucciones de montaje podrían ser mejores de los que son en este modelo.
Da das Modell unzweifelhaft dem Original auch in Details entspricht kamen bei mir die Gedanken auf: Der Heizer wird sich ganz schön ebgeplagt haben. Die Kohle erst vom Tender zur Lok und dann in den Kessel zu befördern, muss eine ziemliche Plackerei gewesen sein. Und wie wurde das Wasser zugeführt? b) Schade, dass das Modell "Personenwagen zum Zug" nicht mehr erhältlich ist. Kommt da evtl. eine neue Auflage? mfg Holger Simonis /simonis.holger@web.de
